George Frobeen

George Frobeen joined the firm in 1980 after having worked with an international accounting firm in Vancouver. George received his B.Sc. in physics from the University of Victoria and was awarded his C.A. designation in 1974 from Alberta.

As the firm's tax partner, George dedicates most of his energy towards Canadian and international tax matters, including oversight of complex corporate reorganizations and butterfly transactions. George also speaks German fluently. In addition to his role as Green Horwood & Co's tax partner, George is active in financial planning, estate planning and executorship work, and also acts as a consultant on matrimonial tax issues.

George has a network of domestic and international tax experts available to assist him in carrying out both straightforward and complex tax engagements.

George has a wide variety of interests outside of the office, including regularly participating in endurance sporting events.
